Joey Koert is a documentary photographer from the Netherlands. He was was born in Den Helder in the year 1988, but spent the majority of his childhood in Curacao. He experienced multiple cultures in the early years of his life and the diversity's that came along with them, as a result he became very interested in these subjects. After finishing High School Joey decided that he would become a photographer, by doing so he can combine his interest in human live with an already existing love for film and photography. Joey resides in Schagen and Amsterdam.
